Q1: What is the one GIF you can’t Twitter chat without?
It wouldn’t be a celebration without some fun GIFs. Check out some of our community favorites below.
A1: It’s not a Twitter chat without a cat GIF. And this is my favorite. #ContentChat pic.twitter.com/CHJlD6RWEE

Q2: What is your biggest/scariest/hardest to solve #contentmarketing challenge right now?
As can be expected, the current global pandemic and protests for racial equality have many companies hesitating to post content of any sort, and in some cases, audiences seem disinterested in reading brand content.
A2: I’m seeing many people putting all their social and content marketing efforts on pause. There is a lot of anxiety around not wanting to say or do the wrong thing, which is valid. But our communities need us to be there for them. #ContentChat
— Erika Heald | Content Marketing Expert (@SFerika) June 22, 2020
There also seems to be a position that people don’t want to hear from organizations at the moment, which I don’t get. People are online and reading, do you really not want to be there? #ContentChat
— Alan Fleming (@alan_fleming) June 22, 2020
Most of our community members have had to shift priorities and replan for the rest of the year (read through this chat on refining your content marketing strategy for the rest of 2020 if you need help).
A2) Managing shifting priorities and strategies. #ContentChat
— Kathy Kopacz MS (@kkopacz1) June 22, 2020
A2: My biggest/scariest/hardest to solve #ContentMarketing challenge right now is defining a template to follow for product launches moving forward.#ContentChat
— Kathryn Lang (@Kathrynclang) June 22, 2020
A2: My biggest challenge in the content world right now is the changing market. Thanks to COVID, my entire content strategy was blown up a few months ago and I still feel like I am planning on the fly! #ContentChat
— Kim Wise (@kimwise014) June 22, 2020
Other common challenges include finding the right purpose for any piece of content and appropriately positioning it for a specific stage of the sales funnel…
Q2 Biggest #contentmarketing challenge right now: enforcing a purpose, a place in the funnel, and proper SEO BEFORE creating content #ContentChat
— Dan Goldberg (@Jonas419) June 22, 2020
Getting time in front of SMEs to guide a content strategy and direction…
A2: The biggest challenge is usually getting on SME’s schedules to inform the content. There are a lot of miniature and four-legged coworkers that have been added to the mix. #ContentChat
— Alan Fleming (@alan_fleming) June 22, 2020
Leveraging the right data to inform your content marketing strategy…
A2: Data, as always, is a challenge. Making sure we have clean and useful data that accurately guides our #contentmarketing and #emailmarketing strategy. #ContentChat
— WriterGirl (@WriterGirlAssoc) June 22, 2020
Acting fast in a rapidly changing environment…
A2: With the finance space changing so rapidly (more then usual) it is sometimes hard to plan out content. If you wait too long (sometimes a day or two) it might be outdated #ContentChat
— SD Fin. Literacy Ctr (@SDFLC) June 22, 2020
And finding a sustainable content publishing cadence.
A2 figuring out how to continuous publish content even though it’s understandable that constant productivity isn’t needed #ContentChat

— WriterGirl (@WriterGirlAssoc) June 22, 2020
